Times and Seasons

Let's Chat

Welcome, everyone.

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 NIV

The longer my lifeline grows, the more I understand that there is, indeed, a time for everything. My writing journey began in 2015 and has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I’m very thankful to God and everyone who has supported me.

Times and Seasons

After months of prayer and consideration, I’ve come to a difficult decision that I think is appropriate for me and my family. For a number of personal reasons, the time has come to back out of writing for publication and everything that goes with it. My eight books will remain on Amazon, but I won’t maintain a regular blog or newsletter or participate in promotional events. My website will remain active for the time being, so you can reach me through the Contact form if you’d like.

It’s time for other things now. I praise my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for leading, confirming, and blessing me through this. Thank you, readers and friends, for your support and encouragement. It’s been quite a ride. I love you all.

God bless you and yours,

Linda

  1. I will miss you. May God bless and lead you in this new walk. Sending love, thoughts and prayers.

  2. Linda, I’m sorry to hear this, but you bathed your decision in prayer, and I’m sure God will bless you in whatever He has in store next for you. You’ve touched many people’s lives through your work, and I hope you know that (although you won’t know the full extent of it this side of heaven). Hugs and blessings to you!

  3. Listening to the voice of God is so important. May He bless every step you take in your new direction. You will be missed. Much love and prayers.

  4. Though surprised (and a bit saddened), I know you wouldn’t have made this decision without hearing from God. Your relationship with Jesus and your family has always come first, and I respect that. You are one of the sweetest people I know! If you ever want to talk, you know where to find me. Love you, sister!
